This is an email version of the t-shirt page at: http://www.cmd.uu.se/T
The web page has a picture of the front and back of the t-shirt.
Delete this message if you're not interested in the t-shirt. :-)

OB Ajazz Comment: I know this all probably came up when the Fugees album
came out, but don't sleep on Roberta Flack!!! "First Take" is an amazing
album (Ron Carter on bass!!)

----------------------------------------------------------
PLEASE NOTE- I HAVE A NEW CA ADDRESS, AND THERE ARE PRICE CHANGES!!!
Please read everything- it's not that painful, and not too long.

Yes, it's that time of year again. When the old "What ever happened to the
t-shirts?" thread comes back, to be followed, no doubt, by the drum'n'bass
debate, and the "This list sucks" and "Let's talk about acid jazz, please"
to be topped off by the perennial newbie question: "Anyone ever heard of
Jamiroquai?" ;-)

Oooh-wee, what fun. :-) Anyway, for those who don't know - Once, long
ago, in a land not too distant, members of the acid jazz mailing list
decided on making a T-shirt. The T-shirt was to illustrate both the music
and the net. We voted on a design and words, printed 'em up, and have been
making them avalable to the AJ list faithful for the last two years (i.e.
until they run out). Down to business:

I have 20 t-shirts left. Doesn't sound like alot, but I'll probalby not
sell 'em all. Nontheless, consider this your last chance at getting this
T. I almost dumped them when I recently moved, but nostalgia kept them
from ending up as my bike cleaning rags. Also, another t-shirt design is
in the air, so by the time this thread pops up again, you should have a new
shirt to purchase.

This page/ notice contains all the information you need to know about
ordering a t-shirt. The first part is general info, followed by cost info
for international orders (this info has changed considerably!!). At the
end are some examples, then a handy one page reference guide you can print
using PrintScreen or whatever. That has my recently changed California
address on it.

Since I have quite a few Ts left, I figure you can just send a check and
you're fine. If you're worried about mail because you live outside the US,
email me with a reservation request.

Generally: They are all 100% cotton Hanes Beefy Ts; white with blue/ black
print (see pict at http://www.cmd.uu.se/AcidJazz/T). All XL only (I have
*no* XXLs left). They've been sitting around for over a year, so they're a
little wrinkled, but still have that spanking glaring new "white" color.
Some might have a little cat hair on them too, but that comes off on the
first wash. :-)

NEW: Because I finally stop banking at the devil (B of A) and have now
joined a credit union, I can accept local checks form *any* country (in
their local currency). Please note that these might take a while to clear,
so your t-shirt might take a while to get back to you. Nonetheless, I am
still accepting trade (CDs)- email me with suggestions, and US cash always
works (but at your risk). :-)

Specifically:
----------------------------------------------------------------------------
Western Hemisphere (US, Canada, Mexico, Central and South America)- The
shirts are $10!!!! That includes shipping! Done deal!
----------------------------------------------------------------------------
Europe- Since US shipping is $3, I guess the price of a shirt is then
officially $7. European shipping is about $4.50, so send me a check for
the equivalent of $12 (so I rounded up!) and we're cool. Or- you will be
cool with this new t-shirt. ;-)
----------------------------------------------------------------------------
Asia (but not Pacific Rim!) and Africa- Shipping is about $5.50, so send
me a check for the equivalent of $13 (so I rounded up!) and we're even
steven.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------
Pacific Rim (ie Japan, Australia, Tahiti, Samoa, Fiji, etc etc)- Shipping
is about $6, so send me a check for the equivalent of $13 (I didn't round
up!) and you're "no ka oi." ;-)
----------------------------------------------------------------------------
For example: Joe SixMeg in Detroit sends me a check for $10 and gets one
shirt. Easy as that, done deal. Jane Macintosh in France wants a shirt too.
She checks the currency exchange ( for example, 4.9 Francs to a dollar),
multipies that with $12 to get 58 Francs (cheap!!). She sends me a check
for 60 Francs coz she's cool, and gets an XL. Done deal. Jo Cyber wants to
know how s/he can get a shirt from South Africa- luckily, now all s/he has
to do is convert the currency and send me the equivalent of $13!! Easy!
----------------------------------------------------------------------------
Here's a chart you can hopefully just press "Printscreen" and it should
give you all the info....
----------------------------------------------------------------------------
*XL Shirts Only.*

Western Hemishpere: $10
Europe: $12
Asia and Africa: $13
Pac Rim: $13

My NEW NEW California address: On your checks- 1) make sure your
Greg Beuthin ADDRESS is current, or include
2864 Folsom St. a current one, 2) write your
San Francisco, CA 94110 EMAIL address on the check in case
USA I need to confirm something.
