I'd hate to disappoint you by not having the scoop on this one. ;-)
Made on Earth is the latest project by Hector Zazou, a French
composer/arranger/producer who has dabbled in many different styles
of music over the past 20 years. He recorded four albums of
electronic world music in the 80's as one-half of Zazou-Bikaye.
More recently he's worked primarily as an "idea man," gathering
other well-known musicians in the studio to perform his concept
albums. His SAHARA BLUE is a tribute to poet Arthur Rimbaud,
and SONGS OF THE COLD SEAS is a song-cycle inspired by the Arctic
North. I don't know if there's a concept to the Made on Earth
project, but there *is* an album forthcoming, according to the
notes on the EP label.
And I agree with you, the EP is great!
