cylob with squarepusher: (I think its called dios, or diof, or something
like that.) I havent hearrd it yet, but heard it was bad. I heard "Cylobs
Latest Effort" last weekend and it pretty much blew. so what we have here
apparrently is the best of rephlex teaming up with the worst. (wait a
second...is squarepusher even on rephlex?)
I heard an advance of Mu-ziq's new full length, and it wasnt too bad. It
had the same effect on me that all his other stuff does. I know that this
guy is talented, and his programming skills are up there with the best of
'em, but he uses too many sounds that turn me off (usually really video
game-ish).
I also heard a J magik 12" off of metalheadz, but I dont know how new or
old it is. I liked it. Ususally I dont like stuff from the metalheadz
camp, but this one I enjoyed.
