it's a great collaboration with a ton of hipper-hoppers -- mostly the
ones on the same jazzy tip. it's really good and quite varied: the
rappers range from the dancehall stylings of tiger and jamalski (what
happened to him anyway? does anyone know?) to the west coast goofiness
of the pharcyde to gang starr (and imo, preferable to his
self-aggrandizing jazzmatazz projects). track listing:

bonafied funk -- main source
it's getting hectic -- gang starr
who makes the loot? -- grand puba (from brand nubian)
wake me when i'm dead -- masta ace
jump 'n' move -- jamalski
death threat -- kool g rap
state of yo -- black sheep
do what i gotta do -- ed o.g.
whatgabouthat -- tiger (bnh appears on one of his albums as well; it
think it's claws of the cat)
soul flower -- the pharcyde
