V Classics hasn't been out very long (a few weeks, maybe?), but it has been
*long* awaited. V Recordings is one of the better labels out there for
fresh and innovative drum & bass, and this album just continues that
tradition... Totally dope.

HOWEVER---

Yesterday I just picked up the Roni Size/Reprazent album "New Forms" (on
Talkin' Loud)-- OH MY GOSH!! I haven't been this impressed with an album
(especially a single artist d&b album) in a looong time.... All the tracks
are simply amazing, even the Share The Fall full vocal version... This is
probably going to get my vote as *the* album of '97 (if not '96, '97 and
'98 ;). I mean really..."Beatbox"? Is he joking? Absolutely beautiful...

I strongly urge anyone interested in funky phatass (and interesting!) d&b
to go buy this album immediately! I have to go back and get a copy on CD
so I can listen to it at work... (NP in my head - Brown Paper Bag)

reprazentin', ;)
Dylan.
