This album's one of my favourites, be it acid jazz in general or the
Heavies in particular. The album has about 10 ( a little unsure) excellent
funky and groovy tracks...basically a project which brought a number of
rappers, such as Gang Starr, The Pharcyde, King Kooba, Jamalski, Masta Ace
into the studio, with the guys of the band...you will hear Levy (bass),
Bartholemew (guitar) and drummer (forgot his name...memory's not so good
these days) jamming with live instruments in accompaniment to the rhyming
of these rappers. The album does not feature former BNH vocalist, N'Dea
Davenport, however. As far as I remember, the producer is Guru.
Definitely, a MUST procure album.
