I thought Jazzhole was ok considering that their sounds is pretty much
"jazzy" R&B and I still listen to a fair amount of mainstream R&B. My
problem with their sound is that it is too safe and does not reach out and
grab you...in fact the only song that I really liked on the album was more of
a spoken word-type vibe called "Rain Fall Down" or something.

Considering that I got a promo copy of their last album...I'm not as brutally
critical but I guess if I paid for it, I may have been a tad more upset. I
did see them live at Tramps a few months ago and they didn't do much for
me...I think that their band wants to be jazzy but the vocalists want to be
more R&B...in the case of Jazzhole, it could be said that the vocals diminish
the over potential of their work...
