**The Wiseguys - "Executive Suite" LP - Wall Of Sound
Ive been looking for this for ages and finnaly i got it :) Brilliant
british hiphop...mostly instrumental but with a few decent guest emcees
here and there. Somewhat similar to London Funk Allstars actualy :)
**Dr.Octagon - "Instrumentalyst" LP - Mo'Wax
I LOVED the Dr.Ocatagon album, not only because of Kool Keith's insanity
but allso (ofcourse) Q-Bert's brilliancy (when he starts cutting up
Charlie Brown and a guy saying "yo" at the end of A Visit To The
Gynocologist..i allmost start to cry). So...the thought of a full album
with nothing but instrumental versions gave me a hardon! Imagine.. two
12"s of turntablist #1 Q-Bert!!! Im sorry to say tho that
"Instrumentalyst" suffers from a SEVERE lack of..yepp.. Q-Bert. He Is
present, but its not enough to even raise a eyebrow. :/
**Pershay - "errr..cant remember.." 12" - Metalheadz
Im not THAT much of a junglist so i dont really know why i got this one.
To keep it short, one side is absolutely brilliant...a jazzy,laidback
epic sorta thing...just as i like it :) The other side was more
straightforward, agressive drum'n'bass tho... boring :/
