for everyone who wasn't there, i'm referring to the nu yorican soul
record release party, at the supper club,nyc, thursday night. it was a
beautiful event to say the least, capped off with a jam session featuring
george benson, roy ayers, tito puente,
vince montana jr, india and a smoking latin band. it was a perfect night,
everyone was groovin' and it was all about celebrating the music and it's
roots. much respect for masters at work, who have made a solid reputation on
house music, but save their best work for an album which is mostly jazz.
