It is that and moreso. Also check out Slowly's Ming.

Yes, a whole bunch of stuff. In particular, a lot of the recordings put
out by Hollywood Records/Acid Jazz last year, such as The Apostles,
Vibraphonic, Vibraphonic 2, Double Vision, The Beaujolais Band, and The
Whole Thing. For the guitar, get Soundscape's Life Force. For nice
trumpet, get Tab Two. And I'm sure there will be contrary opinions on
some of these.
