Hi.
The "People Tree" album by Mother Earth is a great one. It's one of my
favourite albums with funky tracks like "stardust bubblegum", "find it",
"institution man" and more... I do also like the album cover very much.
They are quite inspired by the old school (1967-1975) with artists like
Santanta, Jimi Hendrix or Blood Sweat & Tears (without horns).
I have also only listened to their album "I've been watching" in a
CD-store and I agree that it's more kind of rock n' roll... but it's still
Acidjazz. Rhodes piano, Hammond organ, wahwah-guitar, dry drum beat, funky
bass and soul voices...what can you say.
/Andreas
