Shaft in Africa - Johnny Pate and the final Comedown - Grant Green are a
couple of nice albums to check out as well. What about the recent
blackploitation series didn't they have some movie themes featured?

Well, I recently saw "Enter the Dragon" with Bruce Lee, and hope to find
the soundtrack somewhere. A great album is Jimmy Smith "The Cat" it
even
won a grammy. It is the groovingest hammond with a big band in back.
You
need a big system to get the full effect of the title track. Schifrin
also
scored "Mission: Impossible", no the movie (Eric Serra--see earlier
postings).
JTQ also covers some of his stuff in "Mission Impossible".
