Colin,

I picked up "Future Listening" in the used bin a month or so ago and h=

not been disappointed with my find. I wouldn't have known or recogniz=
ed=20
the name except for having recently seen the video for "Technova" on A=

For the most part I agree with your rating of this project. The track=
s on=20
here are pretty laid back, kinda "easy listening" for the 90's (hince=20=
the=20
title maybe?). Very mellow, loungey grooves with a smattering of=20
vocals/samples throughout. It sorta reminded me of soundtrack music f=
rom a=20
60's/70's vintage Dean Martin sci-fi flick. This could be the reason=20=
this=20
project didn't catch a lot of attention (or did it?). There are 2 or=20=
3,=20
what I would consider, danceable tracks on "Future listening". A coup=
le of=20
tracks also have some nice Asian/World influenced vibes flowing. All=20=
in=20
all, I thought it was a good outing for the former Dee-lite DJ. Since=
this=20
was released back in 95' I'm curious to know what he has been up to la=
tely.=20
Also, I vaguely recall a post to this list sometime back regarding Tow=
a=20
Tei/Dee-lite.

Just out of curiuosity has anyone ever heard "Future Listening" Music=20
by the ex-Dee-Lite Dj? I have no idea why, but it seems as though he's=20
been passed up, and IMHO he's great.
=20
Anyone?
