Anyone remember Blue Mercedes? I wish I couldn't.

More interesting perhaps would be the first records we bought and whether
they had an impact on our music listening careers.

First single i got was "The Night Chicago Died" by Paper Lace (only cause
the store didn't have "My Coocachoo" by Alvin Stardust!) This had no impact
whatsoever.

First Album was "Trans Europe Express" by Kraftwerk and since I've turned
into a nerdy keyboard player with an ever expanding collection of analogue
keyboards I think this one had an impact.

BTW, who/what the hell were/are/is Beacon Cheeks?
