Dear LisT;
.... So I'm sitting at my ma's house waiting for sunday dinner to be
served and I click on the Box(music you control). Lo and behold I see
this bird Taja Sevelle . Turns out shes singing this song called I &
I . Its quite good. It has spy movies "strings" acoustic guitar , loping
hip hop breaks and a cute chorus. Sort ofa (deceptively) happy
Portishead. The songs is about dreaming she lived next door to her self
andd releaseing shes nuts. The chorus is so bouny youd never know as you
hum it the rest of the day. on checking I found she
is a refugee from the Prince camp(poor thing- it never works out for the
one who make the trip to minneapolis) and she is on a Warner label.
