on a *missing* thread:
whatever happened to the Soulsonics? a great groovy band from california
(la? sf?). i have one cd released in 94 from chrysalis: jazz in the present
tense.
saw them live in 1995 and they kicked!

what about izit?
london band one album out in 1994 from tongue&groove called: the whole
affair. incredibly good dancefloor/aj album. great live act.
Catherine Shrubshall + Peter Shrubshall + Byron Wallen (the band's horn
section) released an EP with the name "powdered rhyno horns" in 1995.

i miss them sometimes :-(
