Sorry for crossposting, but someone on either Headz or Acid-Jazz list
asked about Beau Monde releases. One I can think of is Majic12 "the
last battle" (BM004) out in '95.
It is produced in Detroit and indeed sounds really similar to
Underground Resistance's electro-techno style. Probably all
303+808+909 with a one-syllabus sample played at different pitches
throughout the 9:50 min. track (it's a one-sided twelve-inch). It
clocks at around 119bpm and is definitely intended for breakdancing
(Detroit has some of the best breakers I've ever seen).
Actually, the un-pressed B-side has a short story etched circularly
from the center (makes you dizzy when you read it), and I'm gonna
try to type it straight:

THE LAST BATTLE: in a post apocalyptic wasteland that once was the
Earth twelve men stand poised to battle out the last dying seconds
of a sick planet. The two surviving crews in their anti-radiation
track suits face each other for the last ever burnoff. For twelve
days and twelve nights they turn their tricks of precision and
provocation when without warning the desolate sky folds in on itself
and they are erased for ever in a deafening silence. The twelve
breakers of the last hour pass through to the other side of
consciousness, to a life beyond life, an existence beyond existence
where they battle for eternity on a lino so vast in every direction
that it stretches the minds concept of distance, here they will stay
crystallised for ever as immortals of a street paradise.
