Try anything on Yellow Records (electronic acid-jazz) and on Big
Cheese Records (slightly more accoustic, but not all french).

As far as specific names to look for: Mighty Bop, La Funk Mob, Chris
the French Kiss, DJ Cam, MC Solaar, Menelik, Pigalle Boom Bass / Boom
Bass / Motorbass, Source Lab compilations, La Majorite Silencieuse
(Silent Majority), Dimitri from Paris, Cutee B, Bronco...

They all have jazzy elements to their music. And bonne chance finding
some of them.
