& the guy wonders why the "hip hop" scene can't stand him. sometimes i
wonder why he still considers himself experimental hip hop. i'd have to
say he's more in the land of experimental beat & sample manipulation.. and
boy do i love that land he lives in...
this single is great. the title track rolls along using samples about
"rock'n'roll".. excellent use of guitar samples as the rythmn.. now don't
get me wrong, "guitar" can mean alot of shit. i wouldn't call it
"chemical" and its definitely not "metal".. but it is use of "guitar"
nonetheless.. okay, i guess you can tell i'm having dilemas in describing
that aspect of the track.. anyway i 've been enjoying it.. to me it almost
epitomizes what shadow is about..
the b side is phat. the extended mix of organ donor is wicked. way better
than the original track in my opinion. guess that has always been a
favorite of mine, and shadow just rips in up with this remix..
anyway, thoughts on the new shadow single..
