I have the vinyl edition of this (and I also have no money because
of it!), and it's absolutely astonishing ... I also have several of
the tracks in different places but they are all remixed from the
Headz versions .... There is one thing that you may want to know
about the vinyl editions .... they're packed to the max, and probably
would have done better as two 5 record sets, a la the vinyl editions
of the two Breakbeat Science compilations (RIP Volume). Timewise the
sides are very lopsided .... while most of them are 15 or 16 minutes
like an ordinary 12" single, some of the sides are over 25 minutes
long and one approaches 30 minutes .... not very good for mixing if
you're a DJ. Overall it's a very *quiet* and ethereal album ....
but I would name it as the most played vinyl comp that I have -- one
of the few that I can see myself still listening to in 20 years ....
My personal favorite is the 90 BPM mix of Peshay's "The Real Thing".
