STRAUSS & CO. to present a genre bending concert series called
"MILES A HEAD". Described as twelve monthly ventures into the future
of sound, screen and dj culture, the MILES A HEAD series follows in
the GIANT STEP tradition of showcasing and debuting the future stars
of the groove and electronica movements.
The series kicks off on September 18th at El Flamingo 547 W21st St
NYC with the USA debut of RONI SIZE / REPRAZENT direct from Bristol
England. Dubbed as the future of drum =8Cn=B9 bass, Roni Size, Krust, =
Die,
Suv, vocalist Onallee and Dynamite MC with live drummer and bassist =
aka
REPRAZENT have become the shining light of the electronica scene (or =
what
some are calling the scene of future jazz).Roni Size has just
been awarded the prestigious Mercury Award in England.
If you haven't yet heard of what they do, you'll find it to be one =
of
the most innovative steps taken in their field. Roni along with =
Krust,
Suv and Die produce a series of mind blowing sequences with the
accompaniment of live drums and stand up bass plus the straight at =
yer head
vocalising of Dynamite MC and Onallee.
