I would really appreciate some help.
While vacationing in Greece recently, my wife and I were drawn to a shabby
ocean-side coffee shop, which doubled as the jazz club there (Kythera). They
had the most wonderful music playing, and we drank Ouzzo and took in the
Adriatic Sea while listening.
Before leaving the club, I asked the owner/bartender what he was playing. He
said (in very broken English) it was an Acid Jazz collection. He showed me
the CD case, but would not let me handle it (I guess drunk Americans have
stolen from him in the past...)
At any rate, the only thing I could make out about the CD (in my Ouzzo
fog...) was that it was a 2CD set, and was titled something like "Cool Cats:
The Legends of Acid Jazz" or something to that effect. It was in English -
not Greek. I know for a fact that the words "Cool Cats" and Acid Jazz" were
in the title.
Needless to say I've been searching for it daily both in stores and on the
internet with no luck. Anybody have any suggestions?
