I am seeing announcements for the new Portishead album everywhere now. It's
going to be hyped. Can't wait to listen...my copy of 'Dummy' is worn out
too much so I won't be bothered if it's more of the same.
Is Tricky also planning to bring out something new? It was such a kick when
I bought Maxinquaye and Dummy at the same time and kept comparing and
listening to these great songs.
I am now listening to a very fat album by IAM, a French hiphop crew who
really bring a warm sound with their fluent raps in French. I haven't seen
a review on the new MC Solaar here (or skipped it). Could somebody give an
opinion.
I am listening to a lot vocal and accoustic (without drum machines) aj
lately and am a little fed up with the beat-orientated instrumental tracks.
Can anyone give me the name of a really really good instrumental track
that came out lately because I want to refocus on this kind of music.
