Not to belabor the Mark Givens spout- one last item, he wrote" I hate your
Music" when I referred to Ronnie Foster, Donald Bird, Reuban Wilson etc
... etc..- now come on you are in essence the baker at the corner bakery
claiming flour has no use- when everyone knows flour is the foundation of
all baked goods- just as the afore mentioned musicians and anything else
that spawned from Blue Note is the foundation for Acid Jazz- the title of
this list server- I suggest next time you investigate a little Jazz History
before you declare your musical ignorance to the list- but please don't
take this as disrespect I'm sure you didn't mean to say you hate Donald
Bird- at least I hope not
