latyrx: muzappers

anyone else heard the new Latyrx EP "THe Muzappers"?
REmember the song Muzappers on the full length? well, it was basically
two solo songs spliced together (they each wrote their own song over the
same music). on the EP, you have the full versions of each solo peice.
There is also "The Muzappers (recalibration)" in the music is slightly
different and the lyrics are totally different--much more of a duo song.
Aside from that there are a couple instrumental versions of it, as well
as a new song which DJ Shadow did the music for. VERY old school. and one
other song which I couldnt get through because there was too much diva
vocals. (thats my pet peeve...the diva...cant stand the diva...)
Overall, this is an album you can pass on. the solo versions are not as
good as the version on the full length, and the new songs are nothing too
special...far too much singing and not enough rapping here.
disappointing, since these two guys are some of the more gifted rappers
out there (IMHO).
still waiting for "Quantum," which is all the solesides crew on one
album... anyone know a date for that? or at least a season? a year?
