dear list : whts the deal on these two groups on Prestige"Earthy "w/
kenny burrell, and Evolution . any good in the funky sense. Am
currenly listening to Proculs Harum first lp Paid .50 cents in
Mint/mint on orig Deram label found two drumbeats and a bass/drum
groove .not bad for $ .50 . check for it. Last note. The collective
Jazz/ breaks knowledge this list is staggering. If all you guys
wanna be producers it would be dangerous. of course some of you are
Jazz fans and thats cool too. I generally isten to all my used stuff
complete, end- to- end while surfing and emailing. A lot times it
does not pay to drop a needle on the parts where the groove changes
shape. As a result i have definitely absorbed a lot . (ps listening
toFerrante and Teicher can be hard .If Puff daddy did it to find HIS
breaks I would say he earns his money as does premier and evil dee(
black moon) who generally do. one day ill post a list of stuff thats not
worth a dollar to save someone the agony and expense.
