Lee:

Probably my pricie$t CD to date. >$24 Tower import. Cover escapes me
-- can't get to it right now, but especially like "Freedom from Pity"
cut. First impression of album was less than enthusiastic. It's a
tempo shift down from her clubbier dance stuff -- often featured on
the AJ compilations. Funny thing though, I heard about release on this
list and not a peep about it since. Probably means the DJ's dis'ed
it. It's a buy if you want to stock up on mooooodier AJ with poignant
vocal. She's got pages on Dorado's Website I recall.

while enjoying the atlanta end of a cross country road trip from
seattle, i picked up a cd single by jhelisa called "freedom from pity".
it is completely off the hook, and each mix is totally bomb. anyone
familiar with jhelisa knows her concious lyrics and vocals stylings add
up to a neo-millenial goddess. this single from dorado last year came
as a complete surprise to me. has anyone seen a full length from
jhelisa yet? i would recommend immediate acquisition to anyone out
there. peace.
