all i was saying was that vadim's style is very experimental and should not
be confined by any blanket category such as "acid jazz"... i was
responding to a comment: "Vadim is NOT ACID JAZZ".. and was asking who
ever said that he was QUOTE acid jazz UNQUOTE... maybe i was not clear
enough for the list.

exactly.. my point as well. both vadim and shadow fall into an
experimental hip hop "category",
if you MUST categorize them at all.. you can see the hip hop influences
in their music but i would not use the blanket category of "hip hop" to
label them any more than i would use the "acid jazz" label..

basically music transcends beyond the labels that humans place on it.
music is music. its sound. its not words. words cannot ever effectively
describe music. they are two different mediums. end of story.
