Hi list,
I just gotta let you know about a movie I saw last night.
"Blue Note - A Story of Modern Jazz" by German director Julian Benedikt is
THE FILM if you're into The Goove and want to get A LOT OF background
information on Lion and Wolff. It's a documentary with many interviews
including Hancock, Donaldson, Max Roach, Van Gelder......It's also on the
cover design of Blue Note Reords, concerts, and and and and.... IT'S A
MUST.
I was lucky to meet the director himself after the show and we talked a
lot. This guy Benedikt sure knows!

So to all of you: Go and SEE IT. This doc. really grooves! As much as I
know there is also a soundtrack available on Blue Note.
