I highly recommend getting Sie's first release on Pussyfoot,
"Ruban D'Alpha." I am eagerly anticipating the second one.
Besides Spacer's releases, the first sie is the best thing
that Pussyfoot has put out for me.

I got my hands on a couple of advances:
After I heard this on a listening station at the Propellerheads
show in NYC, I had to find DJ Cam's new one:
"Beat Assassinated." This time around it is a lot more
straight up hip-hop with guest rappers like Channel Live
etc. The sample in the first song is hilarious "I Love
Hip-Hop Like Madonna loves D*ck." It's a great companion
to his DJ-KICKS compilation back to back.

Amon Tobin's new one, "Permutation" is better than Bricolage
or his Cujo's Adventures in Foam, both of which are spectacular.
It is a lot more melodic, but he still has his signature style.

I don't know if anyone recommended Adam F's "Colours" as jazzy
jungle in that thread, but the song
"Music in My Mind" is mind-blowing.

Of the stuff I've bought lately, I've been getting a lot of
mileage out of Mr. Scruff's latest EP. I was disappointed in
"Mealtime" compiled by U-ziq. However, the only reason I
bought it was because of a Plug track. Wasn't very happy with
the new Morcheeba either. Her vocals are strong, but I'm
not feeling the music this time around. I won't be putting
that Massive Attack back in my Cd player either; it was boring
to me. The vocalists they had this time around weren't as unique as
they had on the last with Nicolette and Tracy Thorn.
