I'm assuming it's the old label from the 70s. Perception is up there with
other labels such as Strata East, Black Jazz, and Folkways in terms of innovative
jazz, soul, and spoken word during the 70s. The label's a pretty
rare find (at least around Toronto). The one most familiar to
rare groove diggers is the Dizzie Gillespie album (can't remember the title
right now but it contains the track Matrix) - some of the funkiest jazz
I've ever heard. Don't know about the group "The Albert" but it sounds
interesting..
