>I just played an amazing gig locally. first I threw down some rare
>groove (Billy Paul, Afrique, S.O.U.L., puzzle, IF. Hidden Strength, Ben
>Sidran, Cannonball Adderley, & Lighthouse). then went down the street
>and rocked a crowd with underground garage. and came back a hour and a
>half and layed down some of the best 95-96 drum & bass (Ez Rollers, Omni
>Trio, Earl Grey, Spring Heel Jack, Peshay, Jonny L., J. Majik, old Roni
>Size like "It;s a Jazz Thing", and Adam F. It was sooooo
>beautiful!!!!!!!!!!!! I REALLY miss that style of drum bass, and I
>think acid-jazzers would fall in love with that jazzy, funky, almost
>dream-like style!!!
>What happened to it? I still DIG da Techstep and Hardstep sounds, but
>jump-up is getting ridiculous!!! Do you know what I'm sayin'?????
>All da other drum and bass headz, vent your feelings, do ya feel the

Check out the stuff on Hospital, good luck finding it in the US, especially
the group London Elektricity's 12" 'Song in The Key OF Knife'.

On Filter, check out The Amalgamation of Soundz, they did the Badu 'On &
On' d'n'b remix.

Inertia Records, goups: Hefner, The Mighty Strinth

Karminsky experience

some great stuff I picked up at Release the Groove, (the DJs from the
Amalgamation of Soundz work there, JC and Mark), in Soho London, so good
luck in the states.
