uk/us tape trading

My boy just came back from newcastle strapped with over 100 tapes filled with
great stuff from the uk radio scene (which appears to be quite healthy). The
giles peterson, coldcut, david holmes, andy smith, ect tapes all had to be
taken hostage by me for a while... anyhow, I was thinkin - there must be loads
of blokes who regularly tape this kind of stuff and now that I'm spoiled, I am
going to need a fix of giles (or comprable goodness) at least biweekly. So I
pose the question - Is there anyone out there who may be wiling to set up a
sort of informal tape trading syndicate with me? I think the most unique, and
valuable commodity I can return is my weekly dub of the Time Travel hip-hop
radio show hosted by kevin beachem. Its certainly not a household name, but I
honestly beleive its the best rap show on the planet. You'll get all the
(good) new joints, obscure demos and a different profiled artist every week
(producer or emcee). Also, we could work up to things like trading import
records at possibly cheaper prices - for example hip-hop 12's in the uk are
something like 8 quid as i remember. ican get em for 5, and if sone in proper
quantity you'd save some money and be able to get things that aren't readily
available over there. we'll have to work out the details, but i'm lookin to uk
radio as the most economical way to get my fix of good music.
