dear people
having been online with the ever-expanding motion for almost a year now,
we've put the site through quite an upgrade. please check out the site, and
let us know what you think - feedback is much appreciated. thanks to all
current users and contributors ...
---+ what's new:
just about everything! look out for:
motion reviews are now completely searchable,
by artist, release, genre, label, key-word, whatever ...
you can add your comments to reviews, and each review
makes 'intelligent' suggestions about further reading/listening
you can sign-up to new music news services, including
a worldwide musical events diary, mailing list filter,
and reviews updates
you can now find us at:
http://motion.state51.co.uk/
(if you've bookmarked the old motion url, don't worry,
you'll be re-directed)
---+ new reviews:
Martin Tétreault - La Nuit où J'ai dit Non (Audioview/Lowland)
Sam & Valley - Unsuitable Japanese (Angelika Koehlermann)
Ramuntcho Matta & Samon Takahashi - Soundcards From Chile (AnAnAnA)
Paul Bley/Furio Di Castri/Tony Oxley - Chaos (Soul Note)

don't forget, we update our reviews at least daily, so check us out as
regularly as you can.
---+ new shops:
the motion specialist record shop finder now has details of 443 shops!
not bad for less than a year's work. but then it's been compiled
online by record buyers around the world ... like you! anyone can
enter shop details, search for shops, or make comments about
shops. hopefully, it's become a useful resource for specialist
music fans.

writing about new music, so mail us with ideas for reviews or features or
