dear list:Those looking for esthero-like music may wish to try out
Baxter on maverick records. I read a review in Urb(rza cover) on them
and they specifically name-checked esthero and [p] as refernces.
Also on a trip to my local dj shop (i live above it actually) I saw he
had some trip hop vinyl . First was the "purple penguin full length"
(got it -review monday!) As well as a slew oof k7 stuff I saw
advertised in Urb.The story on the k7 stuff,t at least , was that the
label rep kept buggin him to take stuff so he says finally " okay
send me a box" (promos)." So the rep says "what do you want?"
Now when the stuff comes in, it turns out that it wass sent as
items purchased and he signs for it because he had 23 boxes of other
stuff come in that day for the christmas rush. Upshot: there are
three Kruder and Dorfmeister full lenghts On Vinyl for sale in a
little shop in Harrisburg . Send confirmation and ill give you the
adress. there was other stuff but it was single copies and he'll that
soon enough(to me probably).
The K an D set is pretty good(he lent me the cd version) it has the
dub of "1st of the month " by bone and a N more rockers thune and other
stuff. Some are remixed by them some are remixes of them.
