Mark and all,
"Solid Ground" came out early this year on Basement Boys Records. A very tight remix was also issued on the b-side of their followup single, a cover of "Love Changes" by Mother's Finest!
The man behind the Jasper Street Company is Dwayne "DJ Spen" Richardson, who has issued work under a number of different labels. Other than Japer St., his most notable work is probably with Ruffneck (Spen, the guys from Blaze, and Stephen Wilson I think with vocals from Yavhan, who used to sing with Jomanda if you remember your house history). Their latest single is "Baby U" on MAW Records and is lovely!
But back to Spen and the Company.. their first record came out around 1995 and is "A Feeling." If you liked "Solid Ground," you should like this as well, as I prefer this track more. The album is called _In a Spensane World_ and it's on Basement Boys cd and wax. You can find out more from http://www.northcott.com/distribution.html
Hope this helps!
Anthony/B.
