I saw MeShell last spring and she barely played at all she was singing most of
the time. I was disappointed at this, because her singing is definitely not
her strongest suit. She's a really great musician. I wanted to hear her play.
By the way, my brother saw this interview with her where she said that she
wasn't going to put out anymore records of her own, because she hates the
business end of music making so much. She said that she would just play and
contribute to other people's records and perform. I hope that she was just
having a bad day. Has anyone else heard anything along these lines?
