I think Sterolab are loitering somewhere between uptempo lounge and
Trip Hop Lite although the line is very murky. Beautifully Solemn
Moving Music. Very Paris, which is heaven or hell depending on your
perspective. I thought Dots and Loops was the album of last year and
represents the next phase of a musically adventurous voyage. They are
a more serious less poppy version than their peers Pizzicato Five who
by the by are an
absolutely smoking band. Am currently listening to JDJ "Desert Island
Mix" and I cannot rant enought about Norman Jays work. What an
unbelievable collection of songs covering all genres with highlights
being the angry Go Sister "Make me believe in you by You" by Patti Jo
(info anyone?) and the Highlight for me "Jammin to the end of time"
by Anorak Trax. I dare you not to dance to that little chestnut.
