i joined this mailing list recently, this is really great.
i am a radio dj at a college and currently my show is acid jazz &
drum'n'bass oriented, and i'm looking for some new&fresh acid jazz music
that i could play for the show.
i usually prefer city-style, heavily jazzy stuff (eg. jamiroquai, soul
bossa trio, jtq, mother earth, all the 'future sound of jazz' 'future soud
of london' compilations) ; I'm looking for jamiroquai-sh or
drum'n'bass-based acid jazz rather than soul/rap-based jazz, but i'm
willing to try new kinds of acid jazz. ( this is what's so great about acid
jazz-- there's no clear definition or limit, it's as diverse as the people
who support it!)
if you have any recommendations of artists or albums, it would be really
great if you could share it with me.
i would love to hear from you!
thanks.
