I never thought I would hear this name again :)
Michel Polnareff is a french pop singer who had his fame in the late
seventies I believe, with a couple of comebacks in the eighties.
He's most famous for his funky white sunglasses, which he wears
continuously because of eye problems (he looks like a cross between
David Lee Roth and Elton John).
Music-wise I remember it being typical french pop ala Daniel
Ballavoine (RIP) and back then I wasn't too interested in it as I
was more into Gainsbarre (RIP too).
Maybe a fellow french member could dig out an old 12" and comment?

"Please mention .... that I have had Air - Moon Safari looping all
afternoon.
Track 4 is reminiscent of Michel Polnareff, which she might like."

I had this in a mail today: does anyone know who this bloke is? All the
Internet
has thrown up is some obscure Japanese websites with contributions
written in
French (strange but true). If he is really is reminiscent of Air, he may
be
worth a listen ...

Yours in wonderment...
