Hi, V was indeed in K-Creative and is now working on new projects which he
will hopefully be able to bring out on a label. To all London-based labels,
check out his latest stuff!! I heard some if it and it sounds very
promising. V and Glorie (his girlfriend) are good friends of the Galliano
members. The song you mentioned, the wilderness, comes from the wilderness
ep on the tongue & groove label. I'm actually working on a cd for him which
contains breaks of old records; basslines, drums, stuff to sample.

I went to Amsterdam today (where I saw that Peshay will performing tonight
but I don't have the time to attend his show) and scored some vinyls.

Galliano, Prince of Peace 12" there was actually a pile of Galliano 12"s!
Weird, and they were only $2. The beautiful song of Pharaoh Sanders in a
Galliano jacket, an old sog but still good. Speaking of Mr. Sanders, can
somebody tell me what is best albums/songs are?

Mood - Doom, a very good hip-hop album which I had slept on when it came out
some time ago.

Outside - The moon after the fall, trip-hop mixed with opera! Hadn't seen
this one before. The b--side is a distorted jungle version. Is this from the
latest album? I remember that I wasn't impressed by their latest album but
this is beautiful.

X-Men - Musica Negra 12", Rob Swift and his crew, coming correct as usual.
Fat hip-hop, nice scratching

Flora Purim - Open your eyes and you can fly lp, an oldy but I love Flora.
Ron Carter, Hermeto Pascoal, Airto, George Duke. The titelsong begins with
this amazing bassline that has been sampled by.....I can't remember right
now but it's something famous.

Scratch Fetishes of the third Kind - the wax fondler, a scratch/breaks lp.

Ah yes, I went to see Photek last week. Hoowee, what a sound-system! You
couldn''t see the Photek people because they were hiding themselves behind
walls of computers/samplers/electronica. I've never seen people in the
Netherlands go that crazy on d&b. There were some doom-like computergames
with helmets and pilot chairs in the middle of the dancefloor, what a rush
to hunt down ugly creatures with a big gun and Photek's beats pumping at max
volume in your ears! Great night, great music. They played all night. If
they come in a place near you, go check them out.

About my compilation, did everybody who ordered with me get their goods?
Give me a review (good or bad) so I can change things or continue in this
way.

Peace, Love & Soul,

Jeroen
