listened to an old record of Siedah Garrett, ex-Brand New Heavies. =
cant'remember the titel but the music was so horrible,aargh! Amazing how =
she ended up in BNH and more amazing, me liking it.
As a lot of you ordered my last effort I decided to make another =
compilation. Leon and I made a new cd called "Fat Beats & Rhymes", the =
tittle basically explains it all.It's fat hip-hop, mostly =
underground-breaking stuff. As my last comp, this is also a promo cd to =
break this music to all of you who are not familiar with good hip-hop. =
All of you hip-hop junkies will probably know them but it's a good =
introduction to those who are more interested in the genre but don't =

I discovered another Ursula Rucker track. The album is: Dreamscape by =
Jamaaladeen Tacuma, a bass-player. A cd full of bass and the titletrack =
is with Ursula.They're both from Philly I think. This guy plays a wicked =
bass although the cd is not that funky. Do you know of any other stuff =
he did? The label is DIW (??)and probably Japanese (?)
Discovered another Gil Scott-Heron beauty as well: "Grandma's Hands" on =
a jazz fusion compilation : Jazz Fusion 2, Nectar 1995 feat. Roy Ayers - =
Running Away, Azymuth - Jazz Carnival and the rest is....fusion, yak! =
but that's just MHO.

There is a brazillian carnaval party in Amsterdam tonight (yes!! =
cacha=E7a!! party!!) with Patrick Forge to make people shake their =
behinds, place: Westergasfabriek. There will be some Brazillian bands as =
well. Any Brazil-parties in the rest of the world?
Rashaan Patterson will be performing this sunday in Amsterdam, I believe =
in the MilkyWay. I hope I can go to both...
