Picked this up at Jazz Record Mart here in Chicago (it was the last copy
out; maybe they'll restock?) and it's wonderful. A sick affair indeed.
Although kind of short it seems. It's broken up into intros by each
which last about only 30 seconds and then a full piece (although Charles
does both at once in his signature explosive style!). The last song is a
jam with all four that will make your head want to explode!

BTW, I notice this old e-mail mentions Melvin Sparks. For those
interested parties, he's playing at the Elbo Room in Chgo next month.
Bernard Prettie Purdie (he's played with just about everyone including
Gil Scott-Heron and Reuben Wilson) plays there with local Chris Foreman
and guitarist George Freeman this Saturday. But get there early or buy
tics in advance through evil Ticketmaster, cause the room fills up fast
...

Cheers,
dawn
