As an UCSD Alumnus, I have been taken aback by the recent abuse of these
lists. I was relieved to see that the primary offender (Mr./Ms. Randeep
Bhopal) apparently is a student at a university site in the UK, not a UCSD
student.
If the UCSD mail list administrator(s) reads this, I would hope that the
administrator at 'shu.ac.uk' could be reached and a request made to
discontinue Mr./Ms. Bhopal's internet access.
If this does not or can not happen, and Mr./Ms. Bhopal continues to fill our
inboxes with inappropriate postings I would like to recommend the following:
Each of us on each list he/she posts to reply's ONLY to him/her, requesting
the discontinuance of his/her inappropriate behavior. We can only hope that
several hundred emails will get the message through.
One other option would be for the list administrator(s) to release to all
lists the email addresses of the postmaster at 'shu.ac.uk' and or the Dean
of Mr./Ms. Bhopal's department, that way we can fill their boxes with
recommendations regarding Mr./Ms. Bhopal's behavior.
(Mr./Ms. Bhopal: you were sent this in the hope that you will see the error
in your ways and correct you behavior yourself.)
Regards to all,
