I just got to hear two Fused & Bruised comps today, This Is
Latinamyl and Used & Abused. The former is a compilation of exclusive
tunes by various big beat artists (from F&B, Dust2Dust and Botchit &
Scarper) mixing up the normal big beaty thing with a heavy latin
influence. Yes that means samba samba! This is some wicked music. I just
remembered how energetic and danceable music heavy samba can be. Beats
techno or jungle straight up. And yet this is no way traditional, I mean
the blend of what hiphop, junk, funk, techno, jungle and whatever makes
this a mad party disc.
And the latter one shows that the label has even more to offer, I mean
F&B sure isn't a copycat label but they do their own stuff. Inventive
as Skint but still hard as Wall Of Sound. I urge you to check this shit
