The Bobby Womack tune is also on a very enjoyable compilation cd called
BADMUTHA'S 18 Blaxploitation Film Themes (or some title like that; the
"Badmutha's" part is correct anyway). It has standards like SHAFT and
SUPERFLY as well as some rarer fare. A good deal if you just want the theme
songs and aren't interested in Curtis Mayfield's car-chase instrumentals,
for instance, and other such incidental music (though maybe you should be...).
Just tryin to keep you apprised of your options.
