Sure is the Johnny Hammond of "Shifting gears" fame. I haven't listened
to Higher ground although there was a thumping track by Doug Carne of
the same name which featured Jean Carne. If I am correct that album is
on the CTI label. For 3 bucks you can't go too far wrong can you? Most
of his stuff is pretty good.
