It's like Urban Hang Suite. The groove songs are on side one and the
ballads are on side 2. However, side one has a 'different' vibe. Are
their dance songs like "Dance Wit Me" and "Sumthin' Sumthin'"? Not
really, but you can dance to them. Side one has a mello groove--which
I think is appropriate given the album's gestation theme.

Its funky, but on a different sophisticated level. Most of the time,
when we think of funk (ast least I do) there's an edge...a
rawness......Maxwell is just smoother....

On the funky music list, a listee stated that this album proves that
Maxwell is an 'artist' and that he has a definite style. Dude is
changing and growing and it looks like he intends to take his
listeners with him. But then, that's what I thought being artistic was
all about.

As I said before, if liked Urban Hang, you'll like Embrya.
