In brief, some of the songs make the album "The BNH album thart never was,"
though there are 3 tracks that go into electronica territory....nice, but
not as melodic and takes a little getting used to. But there are no uptempo
dance tracks on the album, which I was expecting. She does cover Neil
Young's "Old Man,"
and though it sounds like an unlikely cover, it does sound good. The last
track, "Getaway" has her singing with the Rebith Brass Band, I think it's
the most interesting tune.
Thoughout the whole album, N'Dea's voice sounds "lonely" -- i.e. there are
not many vocal harmonies, just her singing. It didn't blow me away, but I
do recommend it.
