I'm listening to the Wiseguy's Ohh la la, cracking up. Its
really funny, hilarious actually. The tinny, little
trumpets that start the breakdown are great! But then it
goes into this skint sounding break that doesn't fit too
well. But its funny! The B side is a dope rap track, too
good to be hidden on the back of a record. I also picked up
Jaques Your Body and Music Makes You Lose Control recently
from Les Rhythm Digitales. Conclusion: Wall Of Sound =
Wall Of Cheese, yes?

Thievery Corporation, 38:45. I don't have their full length
but from descriptions this is what I imagined. Terrific,
atmospheric, moody dub. flutes. very interesting and
pleasant music. Someone mentioned a different release by
them recently, can someone remind me?

Nicolette: Now Is Early. Some nice big booms. Her voice is
so strange, kind of intriguing. Not sure if I'd recommend
it, but I couldn't leave it be in the store.

Also got Statik Sound Systems Clear and Superdiscount.
Thanks to everyone who recommended Superdiscount. Its
mellow house, its acid jazz, its great.
